Mr. George King
Director
The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum
217 Johnson
Santa Fe, NM 87501

Dear Mr. King:

I was thrilled to hear of your need for a Marketing Director at the museum and sincerely hope you will consider me for the position.

As you can see from my resume, I have a very strong administrative background which includes, but is not limited to, sales and marketing support, budget and spreadsheet analysis, as well as endless time management and project coordination requirements. In the beginning of my career I was Editor and Publicity Director for a small non profit magazine. During which time I was successful in raising the integrity of the publication, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing the advertising revenue by 20%. I believe each of these skills could benefit your organization.

What you cannot see on paper, among other things, is an exceptional work ethic, dedication to (and determination for) a job well done, and a firm belief in honesty, integrity and respect. All of these are critical to who I am and how I perform.

During my career thus far I have worked for small companies run on a shoestring as well as Fortune 100 corporations where politics abound -- and some that fall in the middle ground. I’ve worked for privately held family operations, publicly traded companies and non-profit organizations. One thing they all have in common is they would be nowhere without the talent, dedication and efforts of their employees. I want to be part of an organization which shares this philosophy – not just in theory, but in practice. I sincerely hope The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is such an organization.

If, after looking over my qualifications, you feel there may be a better fit than the Marketing Director position, I would be open to discussing that as well. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
